Shop Hop Rules & Information

Our annual Shop Hop event is scheduled for December 2-8, 2024. In the past, we've only held this event over the weekend, but this year we've decided to extend the fun for an entire week!

Purpose: To encourage those who live, work, and visit in Chester County to purchase their holiday gifts HERE. This annual event is part of our Stay Local campaign.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

FIND THE CHAMBER SNOWMAN -- WIN $100 CASH

Event Timing: December 2nd-6th, Monday through Friday (Note: The $500 cash raffle contest runs Monday through Sunday.)
Objective: Find the hidden Chamber Snowman in one of the participating stores. Only one snowman will be hidden each day.
Clues: Clues will be released each morning at 8am on our Chamber Facebook page to help you determine the location of that day's snowman.
Prize: The first person to find that day's Chamber Snowman and report it to us will win $100 cash. The finder must call us immediately to report their discovery. Failure to call and report your find will result in forfeiture of the prize. The $100 cash prize will be awarded when the finder returns the Chamber Snowman to the Chamber office.
Eligibility: Once you have won $100 cash, you are not eligible to win again for the remainder of the week. However, you will still be eligible to win the $500 cash prize (see instructions below).

VISIT PARTICIPATING STORES -- WIN $500 CASH

Event Timing: December 2nd-8th, Monday through Sunday (Note: The snowman scavenger hunt runs Monday through Friday.)
Objective: Visit as many participating stores as you can throughout the week and complete your holiday shopping!
Entries: At each participating location, scan the QR code to access a digital raffle ticket. The more stores you visit, the more entries you'll receive.
Prize: At the end of Shop Hop, we’ll randomly select one shopper to receive the $500 cash prize (sponsored by GITI TIRE).

No purchase is necessary to enter or win either prize. Only those who physically enter a store should enter the raffle. We want you to see first-hand the great stores in Chester County. We do review the entries and reserve the right to delete suspicious entries.

** STORES SET THEIR OWN HOURS & DAYS for Shop Hop! Please contact each store to confirm their hours. Remember, most places sell gift cards, which make great gifts for anyone on your holiday list.
